RV-8 progress....smaller tasks accomplished yesterday and the day before: Propeller bolts torqued to 65 FT LBS & safety tied. Brakes installed, Brake tubing installed, Parking Brake Valve connected and checked OK. Brake system filled with Shell Fluid 41/5606 & bled. Exhaust exit adjusted to final position. Engine filled with 5 QTS of Shell 80 Straight Mineral Oil. Several stickers and labels installed (NO STEP etc). I particularly like this one in the back seat: CANOPY RELEASE - DO NOT OPEN IN FLIGHT UNLESS YOU ARE LEAVING!
