Race pack nearly ready, but a few important things.... 1. Compulsory kit is a foil survival blanket. We WILL be checking everyone has one at the race briefing. The difference one of these can make in an emergency situation has to be seen to be believed. 2. Please car share wherever possible. Parking is limited at Strathyre and we dont want to cause any impact to the villagers or visitors to the area. Please follow directions from our marshals. 3. The race starts at 8am. Race registration is from 6:30am. 4. We strongly recommend you carry a mobile phone with at least one of the race teams mobile numbers programmed in to it. 5. Look at the weather forecast for Strathyre & take appropriate clothes! This will be the first ultra marathon for a large number of you - dont underestimate how quickly you can get very cold given the time of year, altitude, possible weather conditions and the fact you will have to walk some of the climbs. 6.. No medical forms this year - we have numbers with the fields you can complete on the back of them, so if you are organised, you can bring a pen with you and go back to the warmth of your car to fill them in before race briefing.
