Race report on Round one NZSBK 2015 Round one if the nationals was a up and down weekend for me. In race one on lap two I was running second. Going into turn one I ran off and was dead last I managed to get back to 6th position. But because of a mistake by a flag marshal the race was called off at lap 4 so I finished 11th. Race 2 I was running third until the second to last lap where I had a small front end crash into the dipper the bike and me were fine so that was the main thing. Race 3. I got a good start but once again ran off at turn one and was dead last and managed to get back to 10th. Race 4. I got a good start and was battling for 5th place with Jeremy and Rhys Holmes. But made a mistake by near the end of the race and finished just behind them in seventh. The final race I got a good start again and found myself battling with Rhys and Jeremy again I managed to get the better of Jeremy on the last lap with a few aggressive overtakes to take p 7 again. Overall the weekend wasnt ideal but a positive was that I managed to get my pb down by over 2 seconds to a 1:33.2. We are looking forwed to a good weekend at levels this weekend where Ray Clee will be also helping me out after he cant race after his crash last weekend.
