RaceOffroadNZ would like to extend an open invitation to all real offroad racing car drivers (Classes 1, 3, C, 5 and 7) to join this Facebook group while it remains an open group to have input into the formation of what we believe will be New Zealand’s most exciting offroad racing club for these classes. RaceOffroadNZ has been formed to encourage participation in the offroad race car classes and to act as class representatives for these classes. There are two basic principles on which RaceOffroadNZ was formed and which will continue to be upheld. The first principle is to foster and encourage drivers, participants and supporters of the ORANZ Offroad Race Car classes (1,3,5,7 and Challenger) The second principle is not to run events (so as not conflict with existing clubs) but to encourage participation of our members in events which the club believes offer quality racing and benefits to our club and its members. Join the Facebook group and take part in the discussions which will form the direction this club will take. When the basic principles are agreed and it is decided there is enthusiasm in forming this club you will be invited to join RaceOffroadNZ, not instead of your regional club, but as well as, and as we have low overheads, and as yet no assets, we have set our subs at an impressively low $20.00. When this happens the Facebook group will become a closed group available only to members and RaceOffroadNZ will become an incorporated society. RaceOffroadNZ will not have physical monthly club meetings but will run a closed Facebook page (members only) for discussion and information sharing. All administration, formal information and voting will be undertaken by email. This club was formed as RaceOffroad but with the prompting of the ORANZ Executive RaceOffroad morphed into RaceOffroadNZ which better reflects what we want to achieve. This is not a regional based organisation and looks to encourage membership nationwide and will be implementing initiatives that will bring benefits to our members, supporters and offroad competitors throughout the country. It will cost you nothing to have your say and your feedback is what we are after, however any objectionable or offensive posts will be moderated.
