Rachael here: I was going to write a tongue in cheek update about suffering for my art with 62 bruises and counting... but to be honest, suffering could not be further from the truth. I get to do what I love and play every night with an amazing cast and crew, Im inspiring people to think about their thoughts and actions, and nothing can compare to the realization of this amazing work on stage. My suffering came before - the years of therapy and self work that it took to reach this point, and, of course, the bruises - physical and emotional - that came with experiencing domestic violence in the first place. I dont want our audience to be concerned about the bruises that I have now (we work in a very safe way thanks to our amazing director Lisa Treloar), but they do serve as a reminder of what once was for me, and what still is for many, many women and children. Please come and see Kindred. Our cast and crew put their hearts and their spirits and their bodies on the line every single night because they believe in this work as much as I do. sa2.seatadvisor/sabo/servlets/TicketRequest?eventId=100781629&presenter=AUREVOLT&venue=&event=
