Racism is unrelenting. In world sport the game hardly ends without bananas being thrown in the pitch to suggests that blacks are monkeys. This characterisation is based on the ignorance of white racists that think Africa is a Dark Continent where people live together with baboons, apes and gorillas as brothers and sisters. Africans who visit these western countries cannot believe naïveté of some of these white racist folks. If you say youre from South Africa, they are convinced you should know Okonkwo from some remote village in Nigeria. To them, Africa is one small village. This racism has been following the unmatched achievements of the Williams Sisters. Despite their tennis prowess, they are ridiculed with every feather they add on their caps. To diminish their dominance in tennis, it is suggested they win because they use power. You might think power is banned in tennis. Because she has the correct looks, Sharapova still has more endorsements than Serena who is more successful than her. Poking fun at their looks, a white racist male has ridiculed them as the Williams Brothers. This white male is Shamil Tarpischev who is the president of the Tennis Russian Federation and a member of the IOC committee. Fortunately, he has been suspended and fined. This is different from Sepp Blatter who thinks such racist attacks can be resolved by shaking hands.
