Rad John 15:12-13 this is the breakdown of this verse. We are to love each other as Jesus loved us, and he loved us enough to give his life for us. We may not have to die for someone, but there are other ways to practice sacrificial love: listening, helping, encouraging, giving. Think of someone in particular who needs this kind of love today. Give all the love you can, and then try to give a little more. This is our prayer: Father God we praise your holy name, we thank you for this day. Lord we worship you, we love you and honor you. Today is a new day, a day to make a difference in this world. Lord forgive us for all our sins and forgive us for failing you. Teach us your way lord, father that we can die to ourselves and live as you lived. Jesus that we can imitate you at all times. Teach us how to love unconditionally, no matter what anyone does to us. Today lord we chose to follow your way, we will represent you lord at all times no matter what. Give us a sensitive spirit and remove the scales from our eyes so we can see clearly. Lord we praise you and thank you for your unconditional love. Today we will start fresh and love the way you love. We ask this in the name of the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
