Radio, Television, Newspapers, and Prayer - Our friends at Bott Radio treated us to lunch, and as we visited we asked why they loved doing what theyre doing. One of the staff shared that she was working there because she and her husband had come to know The Lord through Bott Radios programs! After lunch, we made our way over to another one of Oklahomas television stations, and as we stopped to pray, the former Mayor of Oklahoma City, Kirk Humprey walked up! This was a God appointment! You see, we had been praying for him, and had hoped to connect, but werent able to schedule a time. Instead, God scheduled an appointment, and sent him there on a day that he normally wouldnt be there, at the same time as we arrived, so we could pray for him! Our last stop, and the capstone to this powerful day, was at the local newspaper where their religion editor, a wonderful Christian sister, allowed us the privilege of praying for her and her family. On this beat, she is charged with covering anything and everything that claims to be religious. We prayed for wisdom and discernment representing Christ, even among those who dont follow Him. God is at work, He is positioning His people! Pray!
