Raffle Rules: Most raffles are to be held by admin or reputable - TopicsExpress

Raffle Rules: Most raffles are to be held by admin or reputable vendors. Only new, unused items shall be raffled. If a member wants to run a raffle, it has to be admin approved. For the physical and monetary safety of our members, the raffler must either allow an admin to see the item(s) in person, or provide multiple photos of raffler with the item(s) and close ups of mods, rdas and batteries to show they really exist and are in safe vaping condition. The number of spots available and cost of a raffle is solely up to the raffler. If you don’t like it, don’t enter it, but please don’t badmouth the raffler, if you do that, your post will be deleted without notice and you could be booted from the group. The method of choosing a winner is also up to the raffler. The only thing we ask is that if you are a member or vendor you video tape the drawing so everyone knows they had a sporting chance. If you can’t do this, contact an admin and someone will help you. All items raffled must be accompanied with a tracking number if shipped UPS or FedEx; confirmation number if shipping USPS. Raffle descriptions should contain a ship by date and be held within 24 hours of all spots being filled. Descriptions of item(s) should contain the serial numbers if there is one and the material item(s) are made from. The raffler MUST inform if item is a clone or authentic. If item(s) is listed as authentic and is proved to be a clone, or the item(s) is proved to be significantly not as described, the raffler is held liable for refunding all entry fees collected by losers. If the winner chooses to keep the item(s) then it is between those two parties if entry fee will be refunded, discounted or kept by raffler. If the winner wants to be refunded and return the item, then the raffler should be responsible for return shipping charges due to incorrect information. When raffling juices: Juices must be in unused, sealed condition and descriptions contain a brief flavor profile and nicotine level. If the juice is one that does not contain a factory seal of any kind (which happens in some cases), the juice cannot be raffled. The only exception to this rule is that if the person raffling the unsealed juice is the maker of the juice or the owner (or employee appointed by the owner) of a known, reputable vapor shop. This is for the safety of the consumer. Outside of CONUS (Continental U.S.) shipping: Because we are a group mainly made up of vapers in Nashville, it should not be expected of the raffler to ship outside of CONUS. If the raffler chooses to, they can, of course, but if a participant is outside of CONUS and does not disclose this info prior to sending their entry fee, they run the risk of incurring additional shipping charges or forfeiting their entry fee if the shipper said in their description that they will not ship outside of CONUS. We are a Facebook group, not Federal Marshalls, admins can only do so much to make sure that member raffles and participants are treated fairly and with respect. We would like to think that morally, everyone has an obligation to their fellow vaper to be fair and honest in all dealings. Mistakes do happen, we are all human, if you, honestly, feel you were not treated fairly please let an admin know and we will diffuse the situation the best way we see fit. We are all here to have fun and learn more about what we have come to love, so check the drama at the door and lets all have a good time! Thanks, Music City Vape Society Admin
