Raffles Business Graduates talked about the opportunity after graduating Advanced Diploma: My name is Chem Darasokhom, and I majored in Business Management at Raffles International College in December 2013 with several of my close friends. One of the best things about studying in Raffles was the friendly environment there. During our years spent studying, we have met and made friends with so many people. Our classmates, lecturers, and all the staff working in Raffles were always there for us to guide us through all the hardship and struggles with work we experienced during my first year there. Now, after graduating with my friends, Sandy Ping, who majored in Business Management and Banking and Finance, Tiv Ngoun Koun, who majored in Banking and Finance, and Helena Sun, who majored in Business Marketing, I am now a part of a new aspiring business in Phnom Penh. As a group our dream after graduating was to open a hotel and restaurant. However, after attaining our Advanced Diplomas, the four of us came up with the idea of opening a business in food and beverage industry. We decided upon becoming a sub-franchisee for Artease, a big name brand of coffee shop originally from Singapore. After lots of negotiation and meetings, the opportunity of setting up Artease arose so we joined as partners. All in all, I am thankful to Raffles International College for allowing me to fulfill my lifes dream, and as a group, we are all proud to have studied there.
