Rahiel Tesfamariam: Many have been motivated to organize local die-in protests and other acts of solidarity with Ferguson. Someone asked how they should direct the purposes of their protest. My response for anyone wondering the same: It is important that you all collectively decide why you are doing it so it is meaningful to you as a group. Everyone does it for different reasons. Some resistance. Some solidarity. Some awareness. Only you and your comrades can decide what compels you to do it. Once you have the why then determine the who, what, when, where and how. The why has to be thought out as well.
