Rahul Gandhi: We are going to put in a trillion dollars into infrastructure in next 5 years, but we include the poor too. How? A Trillion dollars is about 60 lakh crore rupees. Total tax collections in last financial year stood at 12.5 lakh crore! States share was 3.5 lakh crores. Amount left with Union Govt. = 9 lakh crores. Even if RaGa spends every penny of tax revenue on building Infra for the next 5 years (45 cr). He will fall short of 15 lakh crore to fund his LIE!!!! And if you spend all amount on Infra, Mummy Poor welfare ke liye MNREGA aur FSB ka 1.5 lakh crore/yr ka kharcha kya apni pocket se bharengi? GOI could borrow money. Borrowing 15 lakh crore over 5 years would mean borrowing 3 lakh crore/year. Which will mean raising fiscal deficit by about 3% of GDP/year. Fiscal deficit abhi 5% hai. Woh badh ke 8% ho jaayega! Just to fund Babas dreams. Forget rest of the budget! Kuch bhi number fenk kar chale jao. Maa Bete ne duniya ko bewkoof banane ka theka le rahe hain!!!!
