Rail fare hike is a welcome but delayed move but some people (aaptards and congies) are crying as if they spend their whole life traveling in train. Indian railway is the worlds second largest railway network in the world, the cheapest railway network in the world. Its a shameful thing that the worlds second biggest railways has no place in top 10 when it comes to quality. Even inferior nations to us has better railway service. We cant get high speed and bullet trains , we cant improve service quality without funds. To get those funds prices have to be increased and there has been no substantial price hike from the decade. Now you will say congress did the same why I am supporting BJP now. There is a difference between congress and bjp . Congress doesnt pass the benefit of hike to common people, it believes in spending on freebies to buy votes. All the money that UPA government raised was spent on freebies scheme like loan waiver , mnrega , food security etc. The BJP govt. of Atal ji raised funds through some minor hikes and spent that on rural road scheme , because of that only today all villages are connected with cities. Dont worry my friends if Modi govt. did not passed the benefit of this hike , did not improved the railways . I will join you in Modi bashing. Let him to do the work for now.
