Rail lorry (truck) PMD3-405 on the Pishchalskoye peat railway, a 35 kilometres (22 miles) long 750mm (2ft 5½ins) gauge line, located in the Orichevsky District, Kirov Oblast, Russia. It was built in 1963 to haul peat and to carry workers to and from the peat extraction areas. The red-painted Rail lorry PMD3-405 appears to be intended to fight line-side fires. Thanks Narrow Gauge Railways Russian for another interesting photo. -Phil
