Raila is not keen in fixing party officials ODMs national leadership is in tatters but Raila Odinga is not interested in solving the problem, according to the partys Kakamega chairman. The party leader is dillydallying as if he wants to do away with the party, chairman Major Malala said yesterday in Kakamega town. He said Raila has been reluctant to have the partys national leadership problem fixed since February. The basic problem is one of competing factions. He may be having a feeling that ODM has failed to deliver him to State House twice and is now considering a new outfit for 2017, he said. He said Ford Kenya and Wiper parties have put their houses in order. He said ODMs national elections should be carried out so that even as we push for change under Cord, our party is set. Malala said attempts by Raila to bring together two warring sides - one led by Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba and the other by nominated senator Agnes Zani - failed because the former PM tried to give seats to people who were never candidates at the aborted polls. Raila was reported to be crafting a solution that will include Namwamba and Zani factions to avoid a repeat of what happened at Kasarani in February. He allegedly fears a repeat of the party elections will lead to another embarrassment and is opting for consensus.
