Rainas been here 5 days. I think shes filling out in her belly. Dont see ribs anymore--the big piggy. Tonight for dinner she had 2 c puppy food mixed with some canned pumpkin and an egg. Now I have a question....she has become quite demanding when shes in her room and wants to come in. She barks AND she will leap at the french doors. Since shes obviously had NO training whatsoever, Im at a loss where to start. She doesnt seem to know the meaning of no. So, I go out and have a talk with her-- and shell go lay down. But once I come in, shell bark again. Its cooler in here. I have no problem having her inside. But she has a couple of my dogs scared to approach their water bowl on the other side of the room. Some others creep in and Raina is quiet and just watches. I want her to see that they arent a threat. Not sure how to go about it though. I feel like Im failing before we even get out of the gate. Shes a strong girl and my fear is she can bust out of that metal crate. This evening feeding her, I carried a bowl out and she followed me out and started jumping at it as I held it up. That dang dog jumped higher than my head!
