Rally Sprint Update: The Mason County Commissioners have - TopicsExpress

Rally Sprint Update: The Mason County Commissioners have formally approved the proposal for the Rally Sprint and the request for road closures. (Below is an excerpt from the email just received). After much discussion and careful consideration we chosen to go in a different direction with respect to the sanction/insurance for this event. We would like to thank SCCA for their interest in and assistance with this race and look forward to hosting future SCCA events. Following the amicable separation from SCCA we have reached an agreement in principal with another National Organization for sanctioning and insurance and as soon as everything has been signed and finalized I will make an announcement regarding that. We are looking to reschedule the testing for early Feb., to open early entry next week and very excited for the March 7th event date. Thank you to everyone that has helped make this possible, everyone that has offered to volunteer and to the teams that have offered their time, their cars and their experience to help with testing. A Huge Thank You to Paul Eklund and Primative whos help, knowledge and advice have been paramount to reaching this point and a Huge Thank You to Mason County. From Sheriff Salisbury, to the Dep. PA, to the Commissioners and Public Works especially Melissa McFaddon, your assistance, enthusiasm and hard work with everything Mason County has been invaluable! See you in the woods, cheers....
