Ram-Leela: A musical spoof It was after a gap of six months that I got a chance to watch a movie...Today me and Romy went to watch Ram Leela at the newly opened Satyam Cineplex in Trilium Mall. Let me tell you..the Cinema hall is extremely good...nice ambience, well carpeted, very very good projection, crystal clear picture and excellent sound system...enjoyed the visit to theatre...Good for our city. Now about the movie...a big banner film...Sanjay Leela Bhansali production...and you expect the movie to be good at least...but I am sorry to say Sanjay has belied his image and disappointed his fans... The plot of the film is unrealistic..unbelievable..and a weird imagination of the director. As always Sanjays movies are it is painted with glossy colours on large canvass. The music composed by Sanjay himself is good...the highlight is choreography..the song and dance sequences are superb..there is reflection of Terence in the choreography and some of the steps are fresh and original. The energy of youth...the warmth of love, sentiments and emotions...the intensity of love and lust when two lovers meet is sensually depicted and enjoyable. Both Deepika and Ranveer have given no holds barred love scene sequences...thanks Sanjay..I love you for that. Ranveer looks dashing and Deepika desirable and stunningly beautiful...both of these actors have given impressive performances. But highlight of the movie and performance of the year is by Supriya Pathak...she has done mesmerising job...and in line for series of film awards. But the story is just old wine in a new bottle...packaging is inviting but the product is ordinary..go with little expectations...and you will return satisfied...OMG Deepika is so beautiful...God bless her..
