Ramadan Mubarak to everyone. If you dont know, bother to learn. In my former husbands neighbourhood in Morocco, they would go and help their Jewish neighbours with things that needed doing on the Sabbath when they couldnt work, and during Ramadan, the Jews would repay them by helping them out when they were weak with fasting. Religious differences and differing ways to approach spirituality can be a wondrous and beautiful thing. Bother to show love. It is much better for you and everyone else than rancor I do not have the strength and spiritual commitment to keep Ramadan, but I will for this month refuse to entertain expressions that run contra to peace and grace.
