Ramdev, in his book Jeevan Darshan has mentioned that he is proud to have born where buddha was born (which he means to say is India), Many in the world, even many who follow Lord Buddha, do not know of his birthplace, or know it wrong... Well, this is totally wrong, since Buddha was born no where but Nepal... May be to win the hearts of Nepalese, regarding the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Ramdev has accused India to have misinformed people. But, he himself has claimed that Buddha was born in India, in his book!!! India has been deceiving people, claiming the birthplace of the messenger of peace, Gautam Buddha, to be India. But, Ramdev, just after his arrival in nepal, in a press statement, said that Buddha was born in Nepal itself. It seems Ramdev was only trying to have a better influence on the Nepalese; since the book Jeevan Darshan, written by himself, claims the birthplace of Buddha to be India. Heres what the book says in page 8, I pride myself to have been born in that devine land where devpurush (great holy people) like Yogeshwor Sri Krishna, Buddha, Mahavir, Guru Nanakdev, Guru Govindsingh, brave people like Maharana Pratap, Chhartrpati Shivaji, Chandrashekher Aajad, Subhashchandra Vosh, Ramprasad Vismil, Bhagatsingh, Rajguru, Asphak and mahapurush like Maharshi Dayananda, Swami Vivekananda, were born. Ill worship mother India for this, with my life. - Ramdev Ramdev speaks one thing to have a good influence, and writes the other thing in a document.
