Randall, Apparently corporations are people but women - TopicsExpress

Randall, Apparently corporations are people but women AREN’T. Yesterday, the Supreme Court dealt a major blow to women’s rights. Now, a corporation can have the right to deny access to contraceptive health care to their female employees on the basis of the owners religious beliefs. Their ruling is downright appalling! Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said it best: “The Court, I fear, has ventured into a minefield.” We cannot let this stand. We need a groundswell from the grassroots to compel Congress to undo this. They’re effectively setting women back decades, and we can’t stand for it. I need you to help me fight this now. Are you with me? Sign your name right away. Tell Congress to stand up for women’s health! A woman and her doctor, not a corporation, should make the decision about what’s right for her health, her family and her career. We have to speak out now – right now – and tell Congress to stand up for women by reversing the Supreme Court’s appalling decision. Sign the petition now and urge Congress to protect women’s health. Thank you for making your voice heard – I knew I could count on you. Kyrsten Contribute This email was sent to redm5954@rocketmail.
