Randall, I dont make promises very often because I take them very seriously. I keep my promises – to my patients, to my family and to you, the people I serve. I promised in 2012 to advocate for seniors and protect their hard-earned Social Security and Medicare benefits they worked hard for and earned. America made that promise, and now politicians in Congress want to break it. I’m keeping that promise, but I need your help. Medicare is under attack. The House passed a budget plan that will raise the age of eligibility and increase annual out-of-pocket costs for seniors by more than $6,000 making it harder for seniors to afford health care. I voted against that reckless plan. Now its up to all of us to stand up for our seniors. We can’t let this budget become law.
