Randburg, Johannesburg: KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER (Rayleigh) Job Purpose: To drive a new unique metering system in the South African Market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales and backend management of the product. The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximising sales opportunities within them. Minimum Requirements: -Male (Preference to NON BEE males) -Young, energetic and professional -Matric / Grade 12 -Fully bilingual -Minimum 2 years Key Account experience essential (preferably in Security solutions industry) -Minimum 5 years sales experience essential -Marketing/Sales Diploma advantageous -Technical Qualification advantageous -Experience working within an the Automation & control market would be advantageous -Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) -Time management and analytical skills -Problem solving skills -Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency -Self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced environment that is continually changing. -Target focused and goal orientated -Must have a proven sales track record -Computer literacy in MS Office (Full Package), Windows, Design software -Stable employment record -To start as soon as possible Duties: -Report to Sales Manager -Low level assistance on product development for market/product based solutions -Assist marketing department on product launches and product related activities / events -Work with marketing department to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer -Manage key accounts -Weekly sales reports for the management team -Assist implementing low level strategies within client base and sales area -Must have the ability implement these strategies at a senior management level -Will be expected to work towards a sales target -Managing the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities -Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. -Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning. -Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. -Analysing potential partner relationships for the product Salary: R 20 000.00 gross CTC Benefits: Company vehicle, petrol, Provident Fund and Medical Aid E-mail detailed CV and indicate Reference CR0877 and your salary expectation.
