Random Bruce related encounter last night in Dublin city. Im a freelance photographer and I was attending the launch of a book by Willy Vlautin (American singer & writer). After the launch, everyone queued up to get their book signed, including me. I got chatting to the guy in front of me and we got talking about the comeback of vinyls and of course, I said that Im a big Springsteen fan and have been collecting all of the originals. He said that he first saw Bruce in Birmingham in 1981 and has been to at least one gig on every tour since. He also met Clarence in New York and said he was such a nice guy and that he felt the Rising is one of Bruces greatest albums. We were chatting for a good 20-30 mins - it was so cool to meet another Bruce enthusiast!! :D
