Random Tuesday: -if i had a dollar for every facebook friend that either mentioned Robin Williams or depression in their statuses Ill have about $300. -it takes a celebrity killing himself for folks to post that they SUFFER FROM DEPRESSION. So why havnt you said anything before, i assume because you dont want to be judged and in the black community thats what we do. Which is why so many suffer in silence. Hey dont kill the messenger. -I thank GOD that I dont suffer from depression. However I have suffered from lonliness. After my divorce and when my husband was in the hospital for 4 months. I posted that here and i can say only 1or 2 people inboxed me and asked if i was ok, if i wanted to get out the house, if i wanted to come over for the holidays. SO telling folks you lonely or depressed can be useless cause I know i did not feel like anyone cared. I just shrugged it off as folks got their own issues. I have a strong faith in God and a good mother, that kept me sane and grounded. So stop saying just reach out and call if you dont mean it. Why do you think almost every holiday i open up my house to people, cause I been there. -i love this weather. Great sleeping weather, great walking weather, great love making weather. This a grown folks page. -made my sangria, have it chilling in the fridge. -I have a taste for crowder peas and cornbread. -i tell you guys everyday MENTAL ILLNESS is real. I see dozens of people daily that suffer from it. -facebook is how I unwind. I enjoy it. Ran into a few bad people and experiences but overall its been more positive then negative. I say that to say find something you enjoyand do it. Dont care what others think about it. If it keeps you unstressed its good for you. -this just round 1 of things on my mind. Round 2 after dinner
