Random acts of kindness: While running around in Flushing, I made - TopicsExpress

Random acts of kindness: While running around in Flushing, I made a stop at the post office, which took me off my normal path of travel. I decided to walk down a residential street Ive never gone down before just to have a different experience. Upon turning the corner onto the main thoroughfare I notice an elderly woman leaning on a box looking disoriented. As I got closer to her she lost her grip on her cane and because to lose her balance. Thank God for these long arms of mine, I was able to catch her before she went down. Turns out she had just come out of the doctors office because they told her that the taxi was outside. Since there was none in sight, I made sure she was ok and able to stand, then I went inside to raise hell. The staff quickly snapped to attention to solve the issue. I returned outside to bring my lady (Emma) back inside. She asked me to wait with her, which I happily abliged. Within 5 mins there was a cab outside. I helped outside and into the cab, but my job wasnt done. The cab driver didnt speak a lick of English. WTH. He hands me the GPS to put in her address. She gave me her blessings and said thank you. To which I replied, no thanks are necessary, Im just glad I decided to come this way. And with that, we parted ways.
