Random confession: I was born 90% cross-eyed. I had multiple eye surgeries before age one. I had other surgeries afterwards up until age 15. High school was one of the worst times of my life. I was called eye, cock-eyed, Ashley with the eye and everything in between. It was so frustrating talking to someone and they ask are you talking to me because my eyes would wander...my eyes were literally drifting on a memory lol anyways as I got older I became more and more insecure....I wasnt light skin although Ive always had decent length hair, I have always been teased about being skinny, and my eye issues left me settling because I didnt feel worthy. Although I still have my struggles, Im finally fully accepting of myself, and its sad it took me cutting off my hair and having to show my face to get to this point. However, Im here and Im happy.
