Random rant: college text books are a racket and a scam. These days a single text book can be between 250 to 300 dollars...FOR A SINGLE BOOK! Thats so obviously bullshit. Theres also a new thing where they have books that are unbound, just loose papers with holes in them, you buy a 3 ring binder and put them in it, and those are over 100 bucks! OVER 100 BUCKS FOR LOOSE PAPERS! For the life of me I cant figured out why people just accept this and dont demand some kind of investigation into this. College is expensive enough, and lower income folks have a hard enough time getting the funds to attend, then they have to contend with these obviously inflated and ridiculously unfair book prices. I think its a damn shame and actually rather criminal.
