Random ..there are good people in this world and bad people ..and I guess even good folks who do bad things. The last 10 days in Missouri scare me because when good and bad are confused with race there is never good that comes from it. I dont know if Michael Brown robbed a store... I dont know if Darren Wilson killed him in cold blood... but a bad and awful situation got worse when people used those events as an excuse to rob and steal from others and commit physical violence on eachother and I DONT understand what could ever happen to justify those things... when something horrible happens it disturbs me that instead of positivity and something good arising we as a species utilize it as an excuse to act a fool. Thats right I said species.. not black ... not white, yellow, but a species of human beings. This summer theres a big rage to dump buckets of ice to raise awareness about a disease and thats great.. but what if the awareness we raised was for kindness and decency to one another.. awareness for when bad happens to fix the wrong the best we can and prevent it from ever happening again... as John Lennon said.. maybe Im a dreamer ... but Im not the only one... I hope some day you will join us and the world will live as one... for now ill take the United States living as one..and all the ice buckets promoting goodness to one another will take care of disease, hunger, and everything else
