Random things about me (but to some, maybe not so random, yet still worth mentioning): 1) I am a sucker for mindless, goofy comedy. I have to be somehow related to Steve Carrolls character in The Office (Michael Scott). 2) When you talk to me about something, anything political, I will shake my head as if I have a clue...I DO NOT HAVE A CLUE! Does that make me a terrible American? 3) I worry ALOT, unless Im hanging out with a worrier, in which case I think they are just acting ridiculous! 4) Im extremely competitive! I love a good challenge of just about anything (legal, ethical and moral, that is). 5) I have 5 step-brothers, 2 step-sisters and one sister. I believe these people are a huge reason that I love life. I love my dysfunctional family! 6) I thrive in organized chaos. Too organized and Im completely LOST. 7) I am very hard on myself most of the time! 8) My best accomplishments, events, ideas, and lessons have stemmed from pure procrastination. Someday, maybe, Ill be a better planner... 9) I live my life in soundtracks. Im obessed with music soundtracks because I feel my life has a song for every event, special person or place, big or small things...its the music that holds the memories for me most! I always have a song in my head...ALWAYS! I also already have my funeral song list started (but Ill never finish...procrastinate) 10) I cannot remember song lyrics so I often make up my own to fill in the ???s. Hey, its still a song and sometimes my words are much better! 11) I have a solid faith in God that He always has my back and is always cheering for me, despite my weaknesses. 12) My college English professor told me I should be an English teacher...ha! But I love love love numbers and math! 13) I am related, by marriage, to Jimmie Davis, the author of You are my sunshine, so when the kids were young, I wrote a Sunshine Medley and we recorded it. I pull it out about every 2-3 months and listen it to it. Good times! 14) About 9 or 10 years ago, my family attempted to re-enact the movie, Napoleon Dynamite, and record it. We spent a ton of time and energy on it. It turned out pathetic, yet possibly better than the original movie and made us laugh so much during the entire process! Have loved doing crazy things with the kids! 15) I am an incredible dancer...in my head. In real life, it never quite plays out the same, yet, I love to dance! It makes me feel great! I regret not dancing at my wedding, so I sincerely hope there wil be dancing at my funeral (with great music, of course). 16)I have gas pretty much all of the time, yet I hate it when you smell something near you and it WASNT YOU! Like you have to take the blame for someone elses...ugh! This happens alot in teaching. 17) I am 95% sure I have ghosts in my house. Im 100% sure they are Casper-friendly, tho. 18) Chances are that I have checked out your calf muscles! They always catch my attention! 19) I grew up fast, but have never really considered myself a grownup. 20) Im extremely indecisive. Its a real problem! Grocery shopping is comparable to an Olympic event to me most times. I often believe I should have received a medal when I have made a minor decision in less than 10 minutes. Side note: I love medals! 21) I struggle to not throw in a joke in every conversation. I love to see people laugh. However, I cannot remember a good joke to save my life! 22) My love language is quality time and acts of service. It is how I feel loved and often show love. So if you actually took the time to read all of this...well, thanks, I love you, too! 23) I have never been good at following directions. And Im an honest person. On that note, I made up my own # for this list! Hope you learned something you didnt already know!
