Random thoughts from someone who primarily does Council trees. Is there some sort of growth inhibitor that could be used on mass which is effective and not overly expensive for say, trees under power lines? We cut the absolute shit out of some trees and within a year theyre back through the wires. Or planting dwarf varieties, a lot of those arent really that small and still get into the wires. Would it be a viable option for Councils and even home owners to use some sort of growth inhibitor to slow the trees growth towards the conductors? Even if it pushes cutting cycles out from 2 years to 4-6 years.
