Rant AND Rave: Rave first. Mahap Ive already crowed about how Amazon and their customer service is smothered in Awesome Sauce. In any case, I shall proceed to raveth on. Had an order not show up. Im certain it is the fault of our letter carrier (HC1 in Palmer - more on that in a minute). I call Amazon, they ship a replacement next day air - no hassles at all. Start Rant: The US Postal Service (my letter carrier anyway) SUCKS! I have been screwed so many times by the worthless, incompetent, lazy HC1 in Palmer that I have lost track. Here are a few samples: Other peoples mail ALWAYS in my mailbox - probably about 15% of the mail I receive. Makes me wonder how much of MY stuff ends somewhere else. Got two of those orange slips that let you know you have a parcel or certified letter. These were for two certified letters from the (gulp) IRS! Holy crap. I rushed down to get the letters and the postmark was from OVER 6 MONTHS AGO! When I moved from the apartment to the house (Same address, just no apt. number), I filled out the change of address form. The ignorant and lazy slob who is HC1 actually instead, stopped all mail delivery and returned all mail to senders! I have had it. Im writing a letter to the postmaster in Palmer and posting signs at the mailboxes to encourage others to do the same.
