Rant alert. I have attempted to reduce my volume of political and general controversial nature topics on Facebook after realizing Facebook isnt for that, and that I didnt want to turn Facebook into that, not for me at least. That being said... I am not a huge football fan. I do not have a favorite team, and as a New Yorker (and Yankees fan) I tended to root for the jets and giants and against the patriots. I did lean towards the Giants because they have won a few super bowls recently and that was fun to watch. I am also a dog lover. I absolutely love dogs, whenever I see a dog I go out of my way to say hi to the dog and their owner, I had a pit bull chocolate lab mix from the time I was five until 3 years ago. I also have 2 Brittney spaniels with my parents and a yellow lab mix and a teacup yorkie with my fiancé Stephanie. These things being said, I am appalled that the jets would sing michael vick. Absolutely completely appalled. And I know there are people in the NFL that have done other horrible things, and that he has served his time for the crimes he committed, but, after what he did, how he tortured and killed animals like that, he doesnt deserve anything. Especially on a main stage like New York. Needless to say, I will not be rooting for the jets in any way, shape or form, period. Probably even after he isnt a jet anymore. End rant.
