Rant of the day: Watching the Golden Globes is like pushing needles in my eyes! First off, every damn award win when its announced its like rush hour at the subway, people pushing their way on stage. And the number of some winners gathering on stage is like an Osmonds family reunion. How about 1 designated spokesman for the winning show, song, etc. to come up to the stage???Then you have the lame presenters making lamer jokes and the crowd shots, most of the nominees staring blankly, probably thinking, cmon, get to my award!! Every winner gets cut off when the band starts playing. Dont these idiots have a 30 second thank you planned???? And which winner will no doubt thank everyone but their spouse??? And now we have the Oscars, Emmys, Critics Choice awards, Peoples choice awards. Whats next, the Second Place awards??? Rod Serling said it best so many years ago:Lord, how we honor ourselves!
