Rant of the day: if we (fox) wants to continue to insult the millennials by calling us an ignorant generation, how about we use that as a spring board for educational reform? My school pushed hard for English and literature, what the ISATs were focusing on. As standardized tests change, so do the curriculum. The fact that a schools income can be penalized by poor test results is just a dog chasing its own tail: getting no where. We need to eliminate the gun pointed at public school systems and the scare that the government will make a clean sweep of school employees (thank you no child left behind) because they dont have the funding to provide adequate programs. Better funding + less pressure from the government - standardized testing = smarter generation. #EndOfRant PS: HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
