Rant of the week: as a professional fighter Ive had many coaches .. teammates. . Sparring partners.. etc. Ive learned lessons from world champions to amateur up and comers to just average gym consumers that have helped me improve and evolve as a martial artist.. ive fought against elite level competition and have won and lost.. ive even kept in contact and trained with fighters whove beaten me and have asked questions and picked their brains on ways to improve myself... as a whole the 760 is still relatively in the dark ages.. I seen fighters lose repeatedly and not change their methods ..stay safe ..and accept mediocrity... ive seen coaches neglect their fighters safety and careers by under coaching them and not allowing them to cross train... the 760 is soo divided dudes could be neighbors with champions and not work with them out of fear their coaches will treat them differently ... i even see dudes from the same city and gyms fight eachother to appease matchmakers. . Take shitty short notice fights and make the whole city look bad.. long story short the only way we are gonna be a force and really showcase our skills to the world is if we as men humble up and swallow our pride avoid politics and come together ....these old lions dont run the game.. theyre out of touch with how much martial arts has evolved and use fear and bullying to keep talent in the dark... honestly its no secret who the players here are now and these youngsters need to align yourselves with them and take this shit seriously or get out the way... get out your comfort zone.. wake up.. change how you train.. feed your mind and body! Learn the arts individually equally. .. if your coach wont let you cross train theyre afraid youll see better skill elsewhere. .this will force everyone to step their game up.. stop being sheep..evolve or die..
