Rant time- TLDR- Best of Times Dining section winners is wack. = 1st off... How does Village cafe not even hit a top 3 on best wine selection??? They have more wine than I have ever seen in any restaurant around here EVER.. #2... how does Tsunami get best sushi??? POOR menu... small selection, and mediocre sushi... #3... How does Bordens... get best ice cream... they dont even make their ice cream... They only add toppings... and although the name is local.. nothing else is... #4... how does Prejeans even end up on the list of best of cajun food in acadiana.. That place is a junk tourist trap.. And the food is no longer good... Hasnt been for years and we have amazing restaurants with good cajun food... And somehow a food truck that has been shut down for most of the year... made it to the top 3 of food trucks.. After reading this horrible list... (although some were valid) I am still wondering why CiCis pizza wasnt number one one best pizza in Acadiana.... (sarcasm). /Endrant.
