Rant time: I trained my dogs VERY strictly. They are off leash trained. Meaning when they are not on a leash they stay right by my side & listen to my commands the first time I give them. This was done on purpose considering I have larger breed dogs & that some may see as scary. However, unless I am at a designated park, my dogs are always on a leash & under my control. ALWAYS. So when living in an apartment complex, not only are the on a leash, they are on a short leash, not a retractable so I have 150% control. It is respect that others would do the same. There is a 5lb Pomeranian that continually runs up (unleashed) barking & growling to my dogs. Granted. Mine are dog friendly but this dog is not. PUT YOUR DOG ON A LEASH! Goodness. I refuse to allow my dogs to be snapped & growled at because youre too lazy to put a leash on your mutt!
