We made love like life was ending and beginning all at the same time. And it was beautiful and devastating. Somehow, the last good bye was different. The words were silent screams aching to come to surface. His scorching touch burned into my soul leaving me achingly numb. I dare not speak the realization out loud. The truth of what hid behind our lips caressing one another. Our union the same but different. As the fear raged within, seeping into my soul, the last look, last touch, last kiss would seal our fate far greater than any spoken goodbye.
