Ranzumze Racing Update: Well, wanted to give an update. I have - TopicsExpress

Ranzumze Racing Update: Well, wanted to give an update. I have applied for and was hired by a company, doing call center technical support. I started on Thursday, and my current schedule is Monday-Friday. However at this point, it does not look like we will be returning to the USA Flea Market to do racing because my schedule will eventually include working on the weekends. Our website will remain up and running, although I think I need to really go back to it and update some of the pricing and availability of some items. We will also still provide all of our services (maintenance, cleaning, warranty, etc.) Additionally, we will be available to do some racing events as our schedules permit. For SCX, it appears that they are still in the manufacturing phase of product deployment, and still scheduled for new items to come to market around September of this year. From what I have seen so far, they have some new digital and analog sets coming out, along with a redesign of the Compact sets. The digital sets will include only two cars, but appear to be with more track (at least from what I am seeing at this point), the analog sets seem to be the same, using the new universal track. Cars that have caught my attention so far are a new Porsche 911 RSR with a Red Bull livery, and some new ford focus rally cars. Additionally, they are experiencing a significant backlog of warranty parts for replacement due to the manufacturing delay of about 9 months, hopefully this will resolve itself as the new products come to market AFX - It appears that they are planning to release their super international race set with two of the TRI-POWER power supplies, this should make the 4 lane raceway much more manageable to race on. They also just released two new Mega G cars, Porsche 926. One is red and black, the other blue with red/white trim. For track pieces, they just came out with a double lane loop track that appears pretty interesting, but I wonder how stable that would be with the Mega G cars at full speed, almost sounds like it would be a great way to imbed one of those cars in your ceiling... We are also still investigating other manufacturer products, such as Carrera, Ninco, and Scalextric in the 1/32 and 1/24 scales for both Analog and Digital as well as the Auto World HO sets and drag racing cars. As they become available, they will be on our site. Thank you to each and every one of our racing family, we are glad to be here for your racing needs. Keep an eye out for our (hopefully) upcoming events..... If you have any questions please let us know, either post here so all can see or send me a message.
