Rapture doctrine emphasises on works over grace.....the only ones who must be raptured according to the word is the wicked...the earth is for the righteous to inherit,the wicked shall be removed(psalm37:9)! 2peter3:13 But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with Gods righteousness so peter says we are promised the new heavens and new earth right?...lets go to Revelation.. Revelations21:1 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God so the new jerusalem came out of heaven right?..to where?...the new earth!...and the scripture will come to pass which says i will live among them,i will be their God and they shall be my people so the righteous shall inherit the earth...which is what even peter testifies of! So i really hate those lies of going to heaven one day when Jesus comes! the other time i explained what Jesus meant when he said the angels shall gather people from one corner to the other! Revelations7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. remember the first earth must perish...so that the new earth may occur....so Jesus says his angels shall gather the saints from the four winds of the earth which are meant to destroy the first earth...... 1thessalonians4:14 4 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him God will bring with Jesus those who died in him....and they are called the cloud of witnesses(Hebrews12:1)..so we shall be caught up and being caught up is not flying in the earth as many think..but we shall be caught up in the air(atmosphere) of immortality with the cloud(those who ressurrected) and so shall we be forever with the lord..... So Gods plan was always to live with us..we are not going to live with him..but he wants to live with us.....in a world of righteousness as peter says i will keep on repeating this again and again!!!
