Rarely actually post on her but joined thinking there would be some insightful views on performances etc. 2 rather long winded points Im afraid: 1. Yes we use to play in Division Two. Yes most of us where there and have the horrific stories of defeats at Barnet, Lincoln City and Notts County etc. However that doesnt justify the abject performances of some of our current multi-million pound players. These players are internationals, some World Cup winners, some silverware laden. Performances like yesterday, at home to Roma and Stoke and the 2nd half in Moscow are totally unacceptable. 2. I see a lot of anger or ridicule to anyone who is deemed a newer fan. How do you think clubs grow. The Sheik didnt plough money into City to get us more fans from Manchester. We need to be a global brand and that means attracting fans from all over the globe. Yes some views are short sighted but you have to give new fans a chance. Instead of slating them educate them as to the history of our club In short we all support City so lets support each other
