Rasheed Rahi clarifies Srinagar, Mar 24, CNS: Editor-in-ChiefCurrent News Service Rasheed Rahi Monday clarified that his name is being wrongfully attributed to have been allotted a ticket for candidature from Awami Ithihadd Party (AIP) for Srinagar Parliament seat. “I as well as my family members and relatives have been receiving scores of phone calls and even on office numbers and to every caller I have to clarify that it is not me but somebody else who takes after my name,” he said adding that he is a journalist by profession and has nothing to do with politics. Pertinently, a news paper editor has been given election ticket for Srinagar Parliament seat while a section of press claimed that the ticket was given Rasheed Rahi which is not correct.
