Rationalization of Teachers/Masters for teaching Classes 6th to 8th . **** 1. It is for the information that Secondary Education department is conducting the Rationalization exercise based on school-wise students’ strength from class 9th to 12th as on 31-7-2013 along with sanctioned and filled-up position of teaching staff. Basic Parameters of Rationalization: The norms and Basic Parameters of Rationalization of Lecturers/PGTs and Masters/Teachers are detailed below:- A. Section Norms: Classes 9th to 12th Classes 6th to 8th Each section shall be of 40 students. Second section will be allowed after 45 students and third section will be created after the students’ strength exceeds 85. Section Students from To 1 1 45 2 46 85 3 86 125 4 126 165 5 166 205 6 206 245 and so on Each section will be of 35 students. Second section will be allowed after 45 students and third section will be created after the students’ strength exceeds 85. Section Students from To 1 1 45 2 46 85 3 86 120 4 121 155 5 156 190 6 191 225 and so on B. Period Norms:( 9th to 12th ) • The lecturers shall be given maximum 6 periods in a day i.e. total 36 periods per week. • Second post will be provided after 40 periods. • Third post will be provided on 77 periods i.e. after another 36 periods and so on. • Table of periods and Posts(9th to 12th) Period Post 1-40 1 41-76 2 77-112 3 113-148 4 149-184 5 And So on B. Period Norms:( 6th to 8th ) • Masters/Teacher has been given 40 periods in a week. • Second post will be provided after 44 periods. • Third post will be provided after 80 periods. • Forth post will be provided after 120 periods. • Clubbing of subject periods Science, Math and S.S., English. will be as approval. • Table of periods and Posts(6th to8th ) Period Post 1-44 1 45-80 2 81-120 3 121-160 4 161-200 5 And So on For 6th to 8th
