Razvan Zamfira on : How we can actually design the city of tomorrow, starting from our local community. I "Razvan is a graduate of “Ion Mincu” Architecture and Urban Planning University and as a young professional he strongly believes that architecture should be perceived more in terms of internal processes than through its physical form. Thus, he focused a crucial part of his recent research on visualizing data about the underlying city structure and on the development of design methods that facilitate mediation between its internal energies. After having developed several theoretical projects in the context of his university studies and having participated in local and international competitions, he joined up with a group of Sheffield Architecture graduates in developing “Poiana lui Iocan” – an initiative structured as a platform for young professionals, which offered him the opportunity to actually put his visions into practice. We will be lucky enough to listen to him on the TEDxBucharest City2.0 stage with a fresh perspective on the architectural development of Bucharest and a twist on how we can actually design the city of tomorrow, starting from our local community."
