Re: APC will send PDP out of Bauchi - Abubakar My attention has been drawn to a statement credited to Barr M A Abubakar, the self acclaimed winner of the APC gubernatorial primary election in Bauchi state, in an interview published by your paper on 24-12-2014 that I, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar has congratulated him on his victory. This is a malicious lie against my person, my teeming supporters and the entire APC family in Bauchi State, who share in the grief that their party has again fallen into hands of fifth columnists. I want state categorically that Barr M A Abubakar lied against me, for I have not congratulated him nor instruct anyone to do so on my behalf. As a matter of fact, since the national convention of our party in Lagos, I have been out of the country for a routine medical check. It is very unfortunate that people aspiring to be leaders are those who feel no shame to lie against others. It is indeed disheartening that he is parading himself as winner despite the fact that his so called victory is still in contention. I will like to use this opportunity to thank all our supporters for believing in our project, for standing on the side of fairness, transparency and accountability.
