Re: BLI PRR H10 Well I ran the first one I bought. I used a Digitrax Zephyr. Out of the box it did fine. Nice low speed but a bit fast on the high end. I have a bashed boxcar that is 89 feet in length. 60 MPH is 89 feet per second. It figures that the boxcar goes by a mark on the ROW in a sec is a scale 60mph. I timed it with a stop watch. I adjusted the CV for top end till it was at one sec. It looks nice at that speed. The whistle is a banshee. I have a PRR Banshee I run on steam at 175psig. It screams. The model screams too just a little lower pitch. Not bad. Im not about to pull a train of bricks though. I am going to build boxes for the steamers that allows me to keep them assembled with the cable plugged in all the time. Slide them in- slide them out. That cable is nasty to do with arthritis.
