This introductory workshop covers the basics of different community accessible bioremediation techniques, including: Microbial remediation: Using microorganisms to break down and bind contaminants Phytoremediation: Using plants to extract, bind, and transform toxins Mycoremediation: Using fungi to clean up contaminated soil and water.
