Re-Living IPKKND Episode 377- by redwine1 youtu.be/2IREpVi4qWQ WELCOME BACK theek ho tum pati .. patni .. aur abe ab yeh kaun ? kabhi baccha toh kabhi bacche ka ball.. ******************************************* Dear Fellow Viewer & Reader, welcome to yet another edition of DC .. a crash course in the travails of modern relationships .. probably that was what was there in this episode .. at one end .. a madly in love couple .. trying to adjust to each others channels .. at the other end a woman .. who has a child out of wedlock .. & has kept the identity of the childs father from the child .. a child struggling with identity crisis .. amidst this .. a woman struggling with her inner demons & insecurities .. a man struggling & reliving his childhood ..incredible 20 mins in IPK .. A child struggling with an identity crisis .. meets with a man .. who changed his identity ... what a brilliant thot .. what a brilliant way to bring Arnav & Aarav together .. yes guys time & time again i was asked this question .. why the bond .. this is the reason for the bond .. Arnavs whole life is his identity .. an identity he was not born with .. a borrowed identity which he made his own .. & which he made HIS trademark .. Arnav singh raizada ... today faced a child .. who was struggling to find his own identity .. a child is known by his fathers name in our society .. & Aarav .. doesnt know his father ... My ques here to Sheetal is : if she for the last what 5 odd years has kept Aaravs fathers identity as a secret .. & if she never wants to divulge the same .. & if she does not want to upset the apple cart of the mans life .. then why does she give her child a surname .. which is borrowed .. why not .. just call him Aarav Kapoor .. If she is the childs mother & father .. then .. Kapoor will be a more fitting surname .. wont it ?? A small kid .. ( once again in IPK .. age seems to be suspect .. calculations make the kid to be around 5 .. but by god he is 5 going on 10) .. has to go for a school function .. the parents day .. function .. but he doesnt want to since at the parents day he will be asked about his father ... about whom he has no answer .. he does not know who his father is .. so he prefers .. in his new school to be a recluse .. than be asked these hurting ques .. ques for which he has no answer .. His mother .. refuses to explain to him .. & passes judgement .. saying this is it .. i am ur mom & dad .. ( very like yesterday with the sweet issue .. she says u cant eat sweets coz i say so .. while arnav explained the matter in a more palatable way for the kid) .. But the child .. whose iron control we were made to see from his entry .. today finally lost his cool .. he started throwing a tantrum .. ( phew finally a kid) .. throwing things around .. wanting to know why his mother cud not live up to the promise of introducing him to his father .. at one end this scene touched me .. coz one cud see the struggle of the child .. a child who wanted to be man .. wanted to be told the reason .. why he is the odd one out .. why .. like every normal kid .. he did not have a father .. this at the backdrop .. when a kind male figure .. just did a paternal act with him .. made him win the match .. his need for his father at that point was at his highest .. was he justified in his tantrum .. hell yea .. What shocked me .. was the womans words .. she did not at any point rationalise with the kid .. a kid way more mature than any 12 year old around .. she just simply passed a proclamation .. & this going by the kids dialogue wudve been an argument she had faced numerous times with the kid .. why then didnt she have her answers down pat ??? Why does she want to make an aura of uncertainty surrounding the kids father ??? if she cant upset the apple cart .. then just say .. U DONT HAVE A FATHER .. the kid lived abroad .. where single moms are commonplace .. its not an oddity .. so why the whole HO HUM ?? Oh well .. lemme know guys if u think i am over analysing .. ?? Big smile The child goes away to sulk in his room with his music .. probably away from the HO HUM ... but is followed by our very own Martyr Maata .. Khushi .. her tender heart .. & ofcourse living with the king of tantrums .. who better to know how to handle a recalcitrant kid .. than Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada ... She has faced a more bigger version of this jr. ASR ... so she plays the same trick .. i need ur help .. hmm remember diwali guys .. ooo .. the lights .. the help .. & dude comes running .. so .. she cracks the same thot .. asks Aarav for help .. & then leaves .. knowing the kid will not be able to resist .. & nor does he .. What followed was not really a landmark scene .. but it was a fab scene .. a very IPK kinda scene .. the lost IPK.. which is once again rising from the ashes .. Aarav .. comes down.. & helps Khushi .. teaching her the right way to pot a plant .. well must say anji knows her bhabhi very well .. she knew .. that it was the tender heart .. which was reaching out to another tender heart .. helping it heal .. The the mother comes there .. & the woman .. promises her child .. that she would get the child to meet his dad ... but .. i loved the way .. the child .. who even in his anger .. managed to say i am sorry to his mom .. ( hmm so he is not so much like asr is he .. he seems to say sorry kinda easily) .. Must say the kid is a fab actor .. What followed was another really super scene of the day .. Next morning in RM .. all are gathered in the Hall .. & a jaunty kid walks with his clothes in his hands .. asking all for what shud he wear .. smiling from one end to the other .. excited .. like all kids are .. it was indeed touching to see him bond with anji .. & payal .. all are shocked .. this was truly the IPK i missed .. such subtle emotions .. no bang bang ... no jerky camera action .. no loud BG score .. but the emotion of the scene just shone thru ... a child incredibly excited ... today was the day he was to meet his DAD .. he wanted to look his best .. he wanted to share his joy .. he was not abandoned anymore .. so he wanted to be with people around him .. he asks for arnav & akash .. he wants all to share in his joy .. he wants his fav food .. he wants to smile .. yes the day he was waiting for was here .. Loved how the innocence of the child shone thru in this scene .. there was no reserve .. there was no husk in his voice ...there was no what the .. there was no smirk .. there was a simple innocent joy .. a joy of being ... a joy of belonging .. a joy of not being an outsider .. a joy of getting to meet his identity ... Ok guys .. a treat from the makers .. our starved eyes .. got the candy for the last 2 days .. but well for me tonite .. i got the bitwa & bitiya in the bedroom .. all alone .. So after a long time .. i am gonna attempt to do a pause release .. dunno if i will be able to do justice .. since i am kinda rusty Wink Embarrassed return of the o expression ... return of the smirk & then finally .. Return of the theek ho tum & yes we are back .. scene 1: Khushi goes to her room moves around & sits on the bed .. when Arnav walks in .. she looks away .. & he goes to sit next to her on the bed .. & first asks her if she was upset when she denies it .. he gets up to check on his email .. Khushi tells him that he wud;ve enjoyed a lot to which arnav replies yes her did .. & says that Aarav is very different and pretty cool ..not like other kids who are always throwing tantrums & upsetting the whole household .. he says, that he was thinking of taking Saturday off so he can spend more time with Aarav & teach him how to play basketball well .. so that by the time aarav left RM .. he wud be good at the game .. . On hearing this Khushi gets agitated & by mistake she passes her clothes to Arnav. Arnav asks her, are you alright? she says yes .. he says then why are u giving ur clothes to me to wear .. she says she is tired ... he says .. he played the game .. & she was tired .. & walks away to the washroom .. Whoa guys .. PAUSE HERE PLEASE .. An absolutely wonderful scene .. last nite .. while chatting with a couple of my friends on IPK .. i was hoping for a bedroom moment with the leads .. maybe .. some mention of the kid dialogue .. but lemme say .. this version was even better .. once again .. GUL .. u live up to my expectations .. & give a better version of the scene i wanted .. The moment arnav steps .. in .. he pauses .. & looks at Khushi .. she is visibly upset .. he already knows that .. she made jalebis .. always a sign of all is not well in Khushi land .. .. he goes upto her .. & sits beside her .. she looks away .. Now .. hope u guys caught his mumble .. he says .. i am glad .. i did not find u in the cupboard this time .. ooo .. bitwa knows bitiya is off mood .. so he is trying to elicit the smile .. ooo kya kya karna padta hai bechare ko ek smile ke liye .. Bitiya ... still miffed (albeit for a reason which arnav has not really tuned into) .. doesnt rise to the bait .. hmm so bitwa tries to get her to open up .. asks her .. SO u r upset .. she shakes her head in denial .. he says .. toh jalebiyan kyon banayi .. now guys u must pause here .. for all those of u who were missing the barun .. here he was .. please see the way he asks .. toh jalebiyan kyon banayi .. it was so bang on dialogue delivery .. the husk was back .. the lover was so back .. ( now if only bitiya tunes into channel arnav as well .. hai .. we will get our Rabba Ves) .. Finally ... she looks at him .. & tells him .. u won .. so i thot .. why not sweeten the mood .. & palate .. Arnav knows there is more to the tale .. but .. he thinks its more to do with their loss .. & their fight .. lets not forget .. HE IS MIFFED WITH HER TOO .. she did do the DNA test without his knowledge .. she did go behind his back .. she did not discuss her insecurities with him .. he lets her go for now .. For him .. Khushi .. tore the report .. signifying that she trusted him .. in his mind this topic was dead .. so .. he doesnt know that the reason Khushi was upset was .. her insecurity ... For arnav .. there is no reason for Khushi to be insecure .. he more than ever proved his love for her .. he himself has told her .. NO WOMAN OF HIS PAST MEANT ANYTHING TO HIM .. she was the WOMAN FOR HIM .. hence if he is not cued in .. its kinda understandable .. How does a man .. know that his wife is insecure about a woman .. when she invites the same woman to stay in their house .. ??? Ok sorry i digressed .. he starts to check his mails .. while she goes to lay his clothes out for him .. but .. by then .. Khushi madam ka ire was raised .. so she jumps right in with her two feet .. She goes .. aapko bahut mazaa aaya na ?? pause here .. shes struggling to contain herself .. she wants to let it out .. she wants all the insecurities to come out .. but this time .. arnav does not want to rise to the bait .. since he did not know there is a bait to rise to .. U see he felt she was referring to his win .. if u pause here .. u will see a small smirk & he looks back at her .. so he changes the topic .. he moves to aarav .. he says playing with aarav was fun .. he was talented .. he was different .. he wanted to train the kid .. he cud relate to aarav as aarav was not the kinda kid who wud throw tantrums ( oops spoke to soon bitwa) .. he says .. he wud take the day off on saturday ... to train aarav .. & so BY THE TIME THE KID LEAVES RM .. he wud be a gud player .. pause here please .. what more can be said about a mans thot process .. to him .. he is talking about the kid .. & the kids potential .. in his mind ..the kid is here for a bit .. a guest at RM .. & if he cud help a kid .. who he liked coz of his maturity then why not .. So to Arnav ... the matter of Aaravs paternity is not a question which has arisen in his mind at all .. to him .. sheetal & aarav are guests in his house .. there is a definite .. exit clause here .. Now look at martyr maata .. she is falling deeper & deeper into the pits of insecurity .. to her . she was not discussing the match at all .. she has her insecurities ..which are practically killing her .. she wants to let it out .. she wants to rant & rave .. but .. woe begone .. she only manages to push herself more deeper .. she is so not listening to Arnav .. if she did .. she wudve picked on the till he is here ... she wudve picked on the casual tone used by arnav .. she wudve picked on the fact .. that arnav is talking about Aarav .. his friend Sheetals kid .. not aarav .. his potential kid .. OK move on .. Now bitiya is completely .. immersed in her insecurity .. she moves towards him almost like a robot .. her mind on the calculating all the various scenarios .. she sees shee with pics .. she sees the kid saying arnav is different .. she hears arnav saying the kid is different .. information majorly overload for KKGSR ... her mind is running circles .. & she hands over .. her clothes to Arnav ... he looks at her .. asking her once again .. if she was ok .. she says yes .. he asks her why r u giving me ur clothes .. MEN .. u cant live with them .. u cant live without them .. yea he is still clueless .. this is his weird wife .. he loves her sanak .. for him this is his KHUSHI .. the woman .. who is never predictable .. well remember she is unbelievable ... OH well .. star got it right on day 1 .. they did call these guys .. STAR CROSSED LOVERS .. & a more crossed pair we are yet to see .. both ... are clueless to the others .. deeper emotions .. they both will have to verbalise .. KHUSHI infact will have to verbalise .. for ASR there is nothing to verbalise .. he has said it all .. Now the thing that i cant fathom .. why r people in the forum .. wondering why Arnav is not tuned into KHUSHI .. well isnt this the couple .. who went for the longest time with farak padta hai .. they may be deeply madly in love with each other ( when have they not been) .. but have they ever really understood the other .. yea they both know what the other person is .. but do they know .. all the quirks .. does ne one know all the quirks of their spouse in what 6 odd months of marriage .. NOPE .. guys it does take time .. Ask a man .. he will say after 40 years of marriage his wife is still a mystery to him .. So lets .. give Arnav & Khushi a bit of lee way .. they have just started their married life .. yea .. their soul deep connection makes them aware of each other .. but that does not mean ... each & every time they get a muscle spasm .. the other will know .. But i am hoping tonite all the restless souls .. who were questioning the character .. cud rest a bit .. the moment the Arnav wanted to ask about Aarav today ... he did not call Shee he called Khushi .. The most brilliant moment of the episode was .. when Arnav & KHushi go together to confront shee .. to tell her to reveal all .. CUT ... If only Khushi cud concentrate on this tableau .. her insecurities wudve rested .. The dialogue .. the scene of this episode was this .. sheetal .. HUM tum se kuch kehna chahte hai WE really feel agar tum aarav ko uske dad ke baare mein bata dogi .. toh woh shaant ho jaayega They stood together as a team .. spoke to sheetal as a man & his wife .. the above were Arnavs dialogues .. to him .. he was talking to his friend .. advising his friend .. on her child .. who he had unconsciously bonded with .. look at the tableau .. it says it all .. The above expression is a grab of arnav .. when he tells shee that aarav is kid who will be able to handle the truth about his father .. The expression says it all .. a concerned friend .. worried about the kid who he had bonded with .. but still a bit aloof ... was still giving sheetal her space ... This the grab .. when khushi spoke the dialogues .. usse pura haq hai yeh jaane ka ke uske dad kaun hai .. chahe woh kaun bhi ho Her expression says it all .. she is concerned about the kid .. there is a drop in her voice tone .. when she says chahe woh kaun bhi ho .. now if u look at the pic above .. u can clearly see the insecurity .. u can see the martyr maata .. at personal cost .. she is willing to give the kid his candy This is the grab of sheetal .. the moment Khushi says .. chahe woh kaun bhi ho .. they have an eyelock .. now i cud interpret this for u .. but u know what .. like the PH .. i want to leave this as a cliff hangar .. interpreting this will be giving away the plot .. Wink NOW for some POINTS or LINES to PONDER ... shee says .. the day aarav finds out about his dad .. his problems will increase ??? why ??? will the father not accept him ??? shee says .. my one exposure will ruin a lot of lives ?? why ?? she had 5+ years to reveal ... shee says .. for her own happiness she cant steal others happiness ?? whose happiness is she gonna steal .. & why would she be stealing .. is the fear of stealing or being stolen from ?? indeed a long one .. phew dint expect to write so much .. but the episode was inspiring enuf for me .. well i will end here .. saying just one thing .. all that glitters in not gold all that shines is not sold all thats done is not told ..
