Re-plea for Carl, a fantastic Rottweiler mix. He MUST get out of Baldwin Park shelter as soon as possible. Please help! We love Carl and wanted to include an extra picture of him! A4593303 Carl is a playful three year old black and tan male Rottweiler mix who was found in Baldwin Park on June 16th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing one hundred and three pounds, Carl seems to know “sit” and absolutely adores cuddling and affection. In fact, he seems to think he is a lap dog; while we love Carl’s enthusiasm we don’t recommend him for a home with young children, whom he might accidentally knock over. This engaging and jovial boy is cooperative and social and has passed his shelter-administered temperament test, but could use some leash training. Carl is a dog who loves life and will make a wonderful indoor companion for an individual or a family with older children with large breed experience.
